As a manufacturing industrial company, we also consume resources – including water, electricity and packaging materials. To ensure that this consumption is as low as possible, Graphite Materials relies on comprehensive environmental management. For example, we use largely recyclable packaging material for the transport of our components. Styrofoam has been reduced to a minimum – instead, we mainly use paper buffers, corn flips and packaging pads made from recycled cardboard.

We also deliver our sensitive components in extremely robust wooden crates. These are stackable and thus storable, protect against dirt, moisture and damage and are also reusable. Packaging is also part of our value-added factor of process reliability, because we pay attention to quality and the environment in all areas – not only in the manufacture of our products.

We are currently trying to further expand the sustainability aspect of our packaging: As there is currently a shortage of wood on the world market, Graphite Materials would like to contribute to a slight improvement of the precarious situation. For this reason we try to use our wooden boxes as reusable packaging. For this purpose, we ask our customers to send us back boxes that are particularly good for reuse.

This multiple use allows particularly valuable resources to be effectively saved and wood waste to be reduced.
