Europe as a guest in Cologne: Every year at the HärtereiKongress in the Rhine metropolis, the most important players in the field of heat treatment meet. From 25 to 27 October, it was time again: Around 200 companies from Germany and abroad presented their innovations at the trade fair and, in a top-class program, bridged the gap between specialist knowledge and practical application.

Right in the middle: Graphite Materials. The Zirndorf-based company looks back on the event with satisfaction. The presentation by managing director Rolf Terjung on the topic “Rethinking in heat treatment – adding value through CFC workpiece carriers in practice” was followed with keen interest by the audience. The exhibition stand of Graphite Materials turned out to be a real eye-catcher thanks to its modern design. The visitors had the opportunity to examine various exhibits and to talk with Roland Weeske (head of special graphite), Eduard Lassel (head of construction) and Alex Kern (construction) and Nidaa Seif-Eddine (sales) about the subject matter of the trade fair. These included innovations in heat treatment, digitization, e-mobility, manufacturing and process engineering and materials technology.

The highlight of the second day of the fair was the Bavarian breakfast by Graphite Materials. Stylishly dressed in leather pants, the GM team served his guests fresh white sausages and wheat beer – a nice thank you.

Graphite Materials is looking forward to the next HärtereiKongress in Cologne (16 to 18 October 2018).
