On first of September, a new phase of life begins for many school leavers and young people: the apprenticeship. This is an exciting day not only for the job starters, but also for the entire training company. We are also excited and delighted to welcome three new apprentices to Graphite Materials this year.
Two Cutting machine operators and an industrial clerk will support our team in the future. So that the three of them have a good start, their first day started with a meeting and a tour through our company.
We place a high value on not only investing in machines and technical innovations, but especially in people and their future – because our team is the heart of the entire company.
While the Corona crisis has made it difficult for companies to hire new employees, we are sticking to our training concept. We think that it is extremely important to continue training qualified professionals of tomorrow and looking optimistically into the future – especially at this difficult time.
We currently employ a total of eight apprentices. During their apprenticeship at Graphite Materials, they go through different departments and get to know different areas of work. They are allowed to take on responsibility at an early stage and thus learn to work independently.
Every year we offer the apprenticeships “Cutting Machine Operator” and “Industrial Clerk” and we are always pleased about the great interest and the numerous applications. Next year, too, we want to support young people with the start into their working lives.
