What do the Zugspitze, VR glasses and Mario KartTM have in common? Exactly – they describe our company excursion. This year, Graphite Materials went on a trip for an entire weekend. Our destination in 2021: Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
We set off by bus after lunch on Friday – the mood was exuberant and everyone was looking forward to the trip. After numerous party songs and a few stops in between, a delicious dinner awaited us at the hotel. The day ended in the hotel bar with billiards, dancing and lots of fun.
On Saturday, we started the morning with breakfast and glorious sunshine. We could use this refreshment, because the day was going to have a lot to offer: The teamazing agency visited us and organised a very special kind of team building, where we both sweated and laughed.
After we were divided into five different groups, the task was to determine the best team. To do this, we had to compete against each other in various games and prove our skills, endurance and, above all, teamwork. The world was suddenly turned upside down with the inversion goggles, we had to burst balloons with remote-controlled cars in the Mario KartTM Battle, we solved a criminal case through VR glasses, we had to find the right solution in a mobile Escape Room version and the slingshot in the game Happy Birds made us all sweat.
In the end, each team mastered a different challenge the best. Team Bravo finally achieved the highest total score and thus emerged as the winner. However, everyone had fun – an event that will remain in our memory. In the afternoon we went for a walk around the beautiful and crystal clear Eibsee, before rounding off the day with a visit at the spa area of the hotel and an evening of games together.
On the last day, the whole group went up high: we took the gondola up to the Zugspitze, where a few daredevils even climbed to the summit cross. The view was fantastic and ended our trip just as outstanding and unforgettable as it had begun.
At the end, all that remains is what we Bavarians say: Schee wor´s!
We are happy and grateful for the great experience and are already looking forward to the next trip together at Graphite Materials. This weekend showed us once again that we are a great team! Thanks to everyone who was there!
