Graphite Materials is always on the lookout for young talents. Accordingly great was the joy, as recently thirteen promising young people visited the plant in Oberasbach: Guest was one of three graduating classes of industrial mechanics of the Berufsfachschule für Maschinenbau in Ansbach. The students got an idea of the production of Graphite Materials and got to know the diverse areas of application of graphite, hard felt and CFC. Quality manager David Haas and production manager Adrian Kirchner took their time to answer their questions. They made clear that Graphite Materials is the perfect employer to put the knowledge gained at the Mechanical Engineering School into practice.

The Berufsfachschule für Maschinenbau looks back on more than 100 years of history. In the classroom, the teachers initially teach theoretical knowledge in metalworking, pneumatics, electrical engineering and the like. Afterwards, the students can apply what they have learned in the approximately 2,000 square meter teaching and production workshops. Thus, the engineering school works on the principle of dual education.

Graphite Materials is pleased that the Berufsfachschule für Maschinenbau trains young specialists for the metropolitan region at a high level and thanks especially the teachers Mr. Peifer and Mr. Wichert for their visit to Oberasbach.
